recipe:

Pastry 3 c. flour 1 t. salt 1 1.4 cup shortening 1 egg beaten 5 T. water 1 T. vinegar Filling: 2 # fried peaches 2 c sugar 1/2 c vinegar 1/2 t nutmeg Cook until soft and smushy in water barely to cover. Fry at 400 degrees. Drain on absorbant paper. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
