Gourmet Carrots (Holiday favorite)

(this recipe is good for dinner)
This is ONE of the must haves at every holiday meal.
It has become one of our traditional parts of every holiday dinner.
In fact, I don't even measure anything anymore, it always turns out good
4 cups steamed carrots (I double all of these ingredients)
4 strips bacon (fried and crumbled) I use almost a pound, we like bacon.
1 T. onion, chopped
3 T. butter, melted
3 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 t. dried parsley
Mix the butter with the seasonings and pour over the carrots, bacon and onions. Bake covered 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
