Chicken Waikiki

Very impressive with guests.
They will usually ask for the recipe and tell you later it is one of their husbands favorites.


Chicken  (I use Breast, thighs, and legs)
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup salad oil
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
Flour and brown chicken and put in shallow, but long bkg. dish.

In sauce pan:
Stir in:
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz) sliced pineapple.  (I use crushed and then top with sliced)
1 cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
3/4 cup cider vineager
1 T soy sauce
1/4 t. ginger
1 cube chicken boullion
Stir this over low to med. low  heat until thickens.
Pour this sauce over the chicken and bake at 350 degrees for an hour.
Serve with white rice.
